Clyde L. Penrod, 83, of Texas City, Texas, formerly of Bluffton passed away on February 1, 2023 in Texas.
He was born on Oct. 6, 1939 in Bluffton to Chester & Bessie (Harford) Penrod. Clyde worked in the Tool & Die Industry for many years. He spent many years in Texas.
Clyde married Glenna Williams and then Lydia Lira.
Survivors include two daughters, Teresa McKee of Seattle, Wash., and Cheryl Armitage of Manvel, Texas; a sister Barbara Irwin of Bluffton; and a sister-in-law Ramona Penrod of Springfield, Ohio.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wives; an infant daughter Christine Penrod; a brother Ralph Penrod; and a brother-in-law, Joseph Irwin.
As per Clyde’s request, no services are planned at this time.
Local funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Lemler family of Thoma/Rich, Lemler Funeral Home in Bluffton.
