Friends of the Shelter will meet Monday afternoon

The Wells County Friends of the Shelter, the organization that supports animal issues in Wells County, will meet at 5:30 p.m.  Monday, March 13,  at Bluffton’s City Hall, 128 E. Market St.

The meeting will be held in the downstairs meeting room on the first floor.

Bluffton-Harrison school board will meet Monday

Bluffton Board of Works to meet Tuesday afternoon

The Bluffton Board of Public Works and Safety will meet at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 14, in the meeting room on the first floor of City Hall, 128 E. Market St.

Topics on the agenda include a water adjustment for a residence on West Cherry Street and consideration of the city’s trash rates through 2024.

Northern Wells school board will meet Tuesday

The board of the Northern Wells Community Schools will meet at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 14,  at the school district’s central office, 312 N. Jefferson St. in Ossian.

Topics on the agenda include:

• Superintendent’s report.

• Personnel matters ­— Leave requests, resignations, and hiring recommendations.

• Acceptance of donations.

• Consideration of four trip requests.

• Consideration of a letter of agreement with Schmidt Associates.

• Consideration of a rebranding and marketing agreement with Sensible Solutions.

The board will convene in an executive session immediately following the regular meeting. The agenda for the executive session includes discussion of a real property transaction and receiving information about and interviewing prospective employees.
