As I write this column it is really very nice outside. The temperature is about 40° and the wind is mild. I don’t think this is going to last long!
Here in Zanesville we are all very busy. After all it is holiday time. It is now just a few days until Christmas!
To get in on all the church happenings you will need to go to their websites or give them a call on the phone. You are always welcome to attend any and all of these happenings.
Don’t miss out on the Coffee Cafe at the Zanesville Community Church of God. It is open every weekday morning from 7:30 to 10.
You can also come and see the best ever Christmas light show in the parking lot of the Tower Life Center Church every evening from now until the end of the year. Remember you can sit in your car to view this and listen to the music and readings.
Go to the Zanesville Lions Facebook page to find what is going on with them. We are still selling holiday wreaths for $6 and the proceeds from them goes to the cash prizes given to the Christmas lights contest winners.
Come over to the Lions Community Park this evening, Dec. 19, and enjoy a free party with food, Santa, treats and bingo. We hope to have some apple dumplings to sell and you can pick up a wreath. Our free library inside and out displays lots of free books. Please take some home. All ages are welcome and our doors are open from 6 to 8 p.m. Judging will take place after the party.
