Linda S. Claussen, 75, formally of Bluffton, passed away in Deltona, Florida, on Sunday morning, Dec. 11, 2022, following an extended illness.
Linda was born in Bluffton on May 18, 1947, to Henry Wayne and Martha M. (Raber) Flowers, both parents preceded her in death. She married Thomas “Tom” L. Claussen in Las Vegas, Nev. on April 25, 1997, he survives in Deltona, Fla.
She was a 1965 graduate of Bluffton High School. Linda retired from Franklin Electric in 1997, after 27 years of service. In her retirement years, she developed a love for cats, and was involved with a cat rescue organization in Deltona.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Kara Cupp of Deltona, Fla., and Carlotta C. (Bradley) Penrod of Bluffton; and a son, Chuck Wallace of Berne, two grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 20, 2022, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Goodwin – Cale & Harnish Memorial Chapel in Bluffton, followed immediately by a funeral service at 1:00 p.m. Pastor Clark Stoller will officiate. Burial will follow at Six Mile Cemetery, Bluffton.
