Rick D. Watson, 54 of Bluffton, passed away early Monday morning, November 7, 2022, at his residence, surrounded by his family.
He was born on December 24, 1967, in Bluffton, Indiana to Arnold G. & Thelma J. (Darrow) Watson. A 1988 graduate of Southern Wells High School, Rick worked at Almco Steel Products in Bluffton for many years. He was a talented woodworker and enjoyed spending time with his family.
Rick is survived by 2 children, Colton R. (Mikala) Watson of Bluffton and Madison P. Watson of Liberty Center and was a loving “Grandpa Rick” to 4 granddaughters, Adalynn Watson, Sawyer Watson, Sadie Watson and Rory Watson. He is also survived by his wife of 33 years, April Watson of Liberty Center and siblings, Roger Watson of Bluffton, Ronnie Watson of Bryant, Ellen (Ron) Rasawehr of Geneva and Helen (Tony) Billman of Pennville.
Rick is preceded in death by a son, Clayton D. Watson in 2019 and three brothers, Kelly, David and Shelby Watson.
Visitation hours will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday, November 11,2022, at the Thoma/Rich, Lemler Funeral Home in Bluffton. Funeral Services will follow visitation at 1 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Stahl Cemetery in Rural Bluffton.
Memorials may be made in Rick’s memory to the charity of the donor’s choice.
