Wednesday, 9:44 p.m., Bluffton police officer assisted a truck driver in finding Nesco on Ind. 124.
Wednesday, 11:48 p.m., residence in the 100 block of West Wabash Street. Officer assisted a person locked out of a house.
Thursday, 10:08 a.m., Morgan Street at Perry Street. Someone drew a penis on the street and on a trash bin.
Thursday, 10:23 a.m., Walmart Supercenter, 2100 N. Main St. Woman detained for stealing merchandise from the store.
Thursday, 12:41 p.m., residence in the 1100 block of South Morgan Street. Theft of medication reported.

Wednesday, 2:46 p.m., Meridian Road at 100S. Semi became hung up at the intersection after making too wide of a turn. Wrecker service contacted to remove.
Wednesday, 5:40 p.m. Residence on 600W north of 1000N. Caller reported window screens had been cut on one of her outbuildings, but she did not notice anything missing or disturbed in the building.
Wednesday, 7:31 p.m., Ind. 218 at 300W. Vehicle stopped on the side of the road. Sheriff’s deputy responded to see what was wrong. Occupants advised they could not decide if they wanted to go to Bluffton or Montpelier.
Wednesday, 8:48 p.m., 300W south of 300S near Liberty Center. Caller reported someone drove off the road and struck her mailbox and then left the scene.
Wednesday, 10:10 p.m., Skyline Village apartments, Markle. Sheriff’s deputy arrested Simone Ashli Routen, 31, Markle, on a warrant out of St. Joseph County (South Bend) for failing to appear in St. Joseph Superior Court 8 to answer to one count of operating a motor vehicle after having been found to be an habitual traffic violator, a Level 6 felony.
Wednesday, 10:30 p.m., residence on U.S. 224 in Kingsland. Caller reported it appeared as if someone had tried to pry open an entrance door to his house but was unsuccessful in making entry.
Thursday, 9:37 a.m., residence on 100E north of Ind. 124. Report of an unresponsive 62-year-old female. Deputies and Wells County EMS dispatched. Coroner contacted.
Ossian:
Wednesday, 2:06 p.m., 300 block of West LaFever Street. Caller reported an 84-year-old man had fallen from his motor scooter and struck his head. Officers, Wells County EMS and Ossian Fire Department first responders dispatched.
ACCIDENTS
City:
Wednesday, 3:09 p.m., Main Street at Market Street. Vehicle rearended another and pushed the one vehicle into the vehicle ahead of it. The car that caused the accident then reportedly left the scene. No further information available.
Ossian:
Wednesday, 4:50 p.m., Jefferson Street at Roe Street. A 2009 Nissan Maxima driven by Anwar Husson, 25, Fort Wayne, hit a 2014 Chevrolet Traverse driven by Robert Green, 50, Bluffton, from behind causing more than $5,000 damage.
FIRES
Wednesday, 9:39 p.m., 607 Wheatridge Ct. Ossian residence of Katie A. Trinkle. Smell of something burning and a light haze in the residence. Ossian Fire Department dispatched and Southwest Allen County Fire Department and Bluffton Fire Department requested for mutual aid. Source of haze and smell was traced to a burned out electrical board in the healing/cooling unit of the residence. Bluffton and Southwest were advised to disregard.
Wednesday, 10:32 p.m., Ginger Fresh Market, 410 N. Metts St., Ossian. Report of a large amount of smoke. Ossian Fire Department dispatched. Source of smoke traced to plastic being burned nearby at Morton and Metts Street. Officer explained the town’s rules regarding open burning and told them to stop burning plastic.
Thursday, 6:06 a.m., 5899N-400W, Uniondale, residence of Michael and Jodie Hulburt. Electrical box on the side of the house arcing and sparking. Markle Fire Department dispatched. REMC contacted to turn off the electrical power at the service pole. REMC crew arrived at 7:07 a.m.
