Why have you decided to run again for office?
I have decided to run for office again because I have enjoyed working here in Wells County with this amazing staff.
What do you believe your qualifications are for the job?
I am Certified Level III assessor/appraiser from the State of Indiana, which is a requirement for the assessor. I have over 20 years of experience working in the assessment field.
I enjoy going to classes to keep my certification credit hours up to date.
If elected, what do you hope to accomplish while in office? What do you consider your priorities?
If elected, I would like to continue to make fair assessments for all of Wells County.
My priorities are to work with other offices to help taxpayers the best way possible and to help my staff get the education they need to continue to do their jobs.

Thank you for the opportunity to serve Wells County for the past four years. It has been a pleasure.

Why have you decided to run for office?
I decided to run for assessor because I felt that we needed new leadership in that office.
What do you believe your qualifications are for the job?
I have 17 years experience working in an assessor’s office with nine of those years being in Wells County and I also hold a Level 3 assessor certification. I know every job in our office, and am always willing to learn to do new things and to keep up with new technology. I set a high standard for following Indiana Code, being professional and for serving our taxpayers.
If elected, what do you hope to accomplish while in office? What do you consider your priorities?
The assessor’s office needs to regain the trust and respect of our taxpayers and that is my main priority. Taxpayers need to know and understand how and why the assessment process works the way it does. I hope to encourage that through communication and education.
Is there anything else you’d like to share?
I love my job, I love working with people and the challenges of never knowing what the day will bring. If elected I will proudly serve and represent the taxpayers with experience, integrity and professionalism.
