Thursday, 8:23 p.m., NAPA Auto Parts parking lot, 643 N. Main St. Suspicious vehicle parked for some time in the parking lot with a man inside the vehicle. Deputy spoke with the man who was eating and waiting on the next Door Dash delivery.

Friday, 1:03 p.m., residence in the 500 block of West Cherry Street. Officers and deputies responded on a report that a woman became embroiled in a shouting match with contractors working on a house near hers, apparently upset they were blocking the street with their pickup truck. Allegedly she eventually pointed a handgun at the contractors as the argument grew more heated. Destine Angel Martinez, 24, Bluffton, was charged with pointing a firearm, a Level 6 felony; possession of marijuana and possession of a controlled substance. The marijuana was reportedly found in Martinez’s van after a deputy searched the vehicle trying to locate the firearm. Reportedly the gun was eventually found in a bedroom dresser drawer inside the residence.

Friday, 2:50 p.m., 100 block of West Perry Street. Report of a child throwing bricks at a sewage grate.

Friday, 3:53 p.m., Budget Inn, 1090 N. Main St. Loud verbal altercation between a man and a woman. The woman had left before officers arrived.

Friday, 5:16 p.m., Budget Inn, 1090 N. Main St. Report of an altercation between a man and a woman. Officers responded. The two had separated. Information was taken for a report.

Friday, 7:16 p.m., Spring Wayne Apartments, 525 E. Spring St. Caller reported father of a child came to the apartments to pick up their daughter for the weekend and picked the child up by her arm and hit her. Information taken for a report.

Friday, 7:36 p.m., Thoma/Rich Lemler Funeral Home, 308 W. Washington St. Caller reported son’s ex-girlfriend wrote on the son’s car’s windows with window paint while the son was at the funeral home.

Saturday, 12:07 a.m., Pak-A-Sak convenience store, 204 W. Wabash St. Report of an occupied suspicious black Chevrolet pickup truck parked in the parking lot of the store for several hours. Officer responded but the truck was gone.

Saturday, 11:11 a.m., officer assisted a citizen who had locked his keys inside the City Gym.

Saturday, 12:36 p.m., woman came to the police department to report she had discovered fraudulent charges on her credit card account.

Saturday, 4:25 p.m., Park Community Church, 617 S. Bennett St. Caller reported discovering a mountain bicycle abandoned in the stairwell of the church.

Saturday, 7:46 p.m., 80 Sunset Drive. Officer requested to remove an unwanted person from the residence.

Saturday, 9:25 p.m., Moose Lodge, 120 N. Main St. Matthew Jacob Black, 19, Bluffton, arrested on a warrant for possession of marijuana, a Class B misdemeanor, and possession of drug paraphernalia, a Class C misdemeanor. Bond set at $1,500.

Saturday, 10:06 p.m., Stag Bar, 205 W. Market St. Verbal altercation between former roommates. Officers dispatched. Situation calmed.

Sunday, 4 a.m., residence 100 block of West South Street. Report of a woman yelling at a man to get off of her. Officers responded. Altercation was reportedly verbal only. Situation calmed. Parties separated.

Sunday, 8:37 a.m., Wells County lockup, 225 E. Harrison Rd. Report of a loud verbal altercation between a husband and wife. Officers responded. Parties separated before officers arrived.

Sunday, 9:01 a.m., Praxis substance abuse treatment facility. Officer requested to calm a potential fight brewing.

Sunday, 9:07 a.m., residence in the 200 block of East Silver Street. Caller requested officer to remove estranged husband from residence.

Sunday, 1:15 p.m., residence in the 200 block of East Dustman Road. Caller reported son received pornographic messages.

Sunday, 3:54 p.m., residence in the 500 block of West Miller Street. Three vehicles parked on the street were all scratched down their drivers’ sides.

Sunday, 6:48 p.m., Bluffton wastewater treatment plant, 702 N. Main St. Burglar alarm. Officer responded. Employee accidentally triggered the alarm.

Sunday, 7:41 p.m., McDonald’s restaurant, 984 N. Main St. Back window of an employee’s 2006 Ford F-150 pickup truck broken out. An officer checked the truck but could not determine how the window shattered.

Sunday, 9:21 p.m., Pak-A-Sak convenience store, 204 W. Wabash St. Officer referred a homeless couple to several homeless shelters in the area.

Friday, 12:10 a.m., Peyton’s Northern warehouse 102 (the former Corning building) 0300W-100S. Report from an employee at the warehouse that a man in his early 20s with fuzzy hair climbed up onto the roof of the warehouse claiming he was going to “prank” and employee by delivering Taco Bell to the employee. He had lowered himself into the warehouse by way of a roof hatch. However when he was confronted, he reportedly ran into the warehouse. Sheriff’s deputies and state police responded. They found the open roof hatch and a hat that had been abandoned nearby. They also found remnants of Taco Bell fast food nearby, but a complete search of the warehouse turned up nothing. An open door at ground level was found and the man may have exited the warehouse through that door and ran away.

Friday, 2:24 p.m., residence on Ind. 1 north of 300N. Amazon delivery driver got her delivery truck stuck in the front yard of Janie Murray, 3288N-Ind. 1, while making a delivery to the residence. A wrecker service was called to pull out the van.

Saturday, 3:51 a.m., Ind. 1 near 350N. Dead deer in the road. Deputy responded and removed the deer’s carcass from the roadway.

Saturday, 4:28 p.m., 500E  near 100S. Tree leaning on power lines.

Sunday, 1:06 p.m., mobile home at the Silo Farms mobile home park, 11080N-Ind. 1. Loud verbal altercation between a man and a woman who were formerly in a relationship over getting Easter “things” ready for their children. Deputies responded. Although the woman reported she was shoved by the man — who claimed to have done it to “get her out of his face” — she did not wish to pursue charges.

Thursday, 4:50 p.m., Main Street just south of South Street. A 2020 Ford Ecosport driven by Harold D. Arnold, 88, Bluffton, hit a 2020 Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck driven by Austin R. Schortgen, 30, Liberty Center, from behind. The crash caused more than $5,000 damage.

Friday. 8:52 a.m., Walnut Street west of Scott Street. Jon S. Oman, 61, Bluffton, backed a 2006 Chevrolet Equinox registered to the City of Bluffton, out of a parking space and struck a Bluffton Utilities electric pole. Damage exceeded $2,500.

Thursday, 6:35 a.m., 300N. Trace A. Moser, 16, rural Craigville, hit a deer with his 2013 Dodge Dart. Damage to the car exceeded $1,000.

Friday, 6 p.m., 100E at 200S. Zakkary Q. Aukerman, 23, Berne, was eastbound on 200S when he attempted a left turn onto 100E and drove his 2014 Chrysler 200 into the path of a westbound 2015 Lincoln MKZ driven by Madison P. Watson, rural Bluffton. Damage exceeded $25,000.

Saturday, 12:24 a.m., 800S near Ind. 3. Kaidyn J. Tyner, 17, Warren, hit a deer with a 2004 Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck. Damage exceeded $5,000.

Saturday, 12:39 p.m., 300W at 900N. Brayden M. Rice, 17, Huntington, was driving a 2003 Isuzu flat bed truck west on 900N when he stopped for 300W and then entered the intersection into the path of a 2919 Toyota Corolla driven by Cole A. Kirkpatrick, 28, Waddell, Ariz. Damage exceeded $5,000.

Saturday, 9:36 p.m., U.S. 224 near 100E. Joseph S. McClurg, 29, rural Decatur, hit a deer with his 2008 Chrysler Town & Country van. Damage exceeded $2,500.

Monday, 3:43 a.m., 1000S. Scott Irelan, 46, rural Keystone, hit a deer with his Dodge Grand Caravan. Damage to the van exceeded $2,500.

Monday, 7:31 a.m., 900S west of 1000W in Jackson Township. Shelby N. Thompson, 21, rural Montpelier, hit two chickens and a turkey with her 2014 Dodge Journey. All three birds were killed and the vehicle sustained less than $1,000 damage.

Monday, 1:13 p.m., U.S. 224 at 100E in front of Norwell High School. Two vehicles collided, three people with minor injuries, one person entrapped in a vehicle. Wells County Sheriff’s deputies, Ossian Fire Rescue and Wells County EMS dispatched. The person was quickly freed and two people were taken by ambulance to Lutheran Hospital for treatment. No further information was available at press time.

Saturday, 5:07 p.m., Alexin LLC, 1390 S. Adams St. Fire alarm. Bluffton Fire Department dispatched. Alarm accidentally triggered

Monday, 7:24 a.m., Bluffton U-Store, 761 N. Main St. Caller reported seeing smoke coming from  behind one of the buildings. Bluffton Fire Department dispatched. Firefighters found a small trash fire.

Monday, 9:25 a.m., TI Automotive, 1200 Baker Drive Ossian. Fire alarm. Ossian Fire Department dispatched. No fire. Alarm triggered accidentally.
