Anna Fullhart, 85, passed away Thursday, Feb. 24, 2022, in Markle.
She was born Aug. 1, 1936, in Garrett, Ind., to Roswell and Georgianna Newhard. Her parents preceded her in death.
She loved being a teacher. She taught at Ossian Elementary School for 40 years and cared for her students as if they were her own children. She was passionate and dedicated to their welfare and growth. She also enjoyed gardening and developing intricate flowerbeds around her home.
She is survived by her son, Paul (Kaipua) Fullhart; her grandchildren, Kalam, Alisandra, Ian, Kelton, Havenlea, Miranda, and Lacey Fullhart; and a sister, Sue (Ray) Ruschau.
Anna was also preceded in passing by her husband, Charles Fullhart.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 3, 2022, at the Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Funeral Home, 120 W. Mill St. in Ossian, with visitation one hour prior. Visitation will also be held from 4 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, March 2, at the funeral home.
Burial will follow the service at Prospect Cemetery.
