Wells Superior Court
Trevor Lee Pitzer, 24, Bluffton, was sentenced to one year at the Indiana Department of Correction with 184 days of jail credit towards his time. The sentence was issued after Pitzer pled guilty to one count of domestic battery, a Level 6 Felony. One charge for intimidation, a Class A misdemeanor, was dismissed pursuant to the plea agreement. Pitzer is not required to complete probation, however, he is ordered to pay court costs and filing fees in the amount of $189.

Thomas E. Roach, 40, Fort Wayne, was sentenced to 730 days at the Indiana Department of Correction with six days to serve. The remaining 724 days were suspended. The sentence was issued after Roach pled guilty to one count of domestic battery resulting in bodily injury, a Level 6 felony. Roach received six days of jail credit towards his sentence and is required to complete 724 days of probation. Roach is also ordered to pay court costs and filing fees in the amount of $239.

Jared Williams, 33, Bluffton, was scheduled to be sentenced in the Wells Superior Court last week, however, he failed to appear. A warrant has been issued for his arrest. In October, Williams pled guilty to possession of methamphetamine and possession of a narcotic drug, both Level 6 felonies, resisting law enforcement, a Class A misdemeanor, and possession of paraphernalia, a Class C misdemeanor.
Wells Circuit Court
Robby Lee Bullard, 37, Hartford City, pled guilty to battery with bodily injury to a public safety officer, a Level 5 Felony, and criminal trespassing, a Class A misdemeanor. Three counts of resisting law enforcement, all Level 6 felonies, were dismissed pursuant to the plea agreement. Bullard is scheduled for sentencing in this matter at 9 a.m. on Feb. 21 in the Wells Circuit Court.

Cassie Abercrombie, 34, Bluffton, pled not guilty to dealing methamphetamine and one count of dealing a narcotic drug between one and five grams, both Level 4 felonies. Abercrombie was arrested last week and her bond was set at $10,000. She is scheduled for a pretrial conference on the matter at 9 a.m. on Jan. 31 in the Wells Circuit Court.

Natasha Stanton, 42, Bluffton, appeared in the Wells Circuit Court for a bail review hearing on Wednesday. Stanton requested her bond be lowered so that she could pay $1,000. Prosecutor Colin Andrews advised the court that Stanton presented a credible threat to others and that the details of the case were “disturbing to say the least.”
In August, Stanton was charged with three counts of domestic battery by means of a deadly weapon, all Level 5 felonies, two counts of domestic battery resulting in bodily injury, strangulation, and confinement, all Level 6 felonies. Judge Kenton Kiracofe denied the request. Stanton’s bond remains set at $25,000.

Howard Michael Bryant, 35, Bluffton, appeared in the Wells Circuit Court for a bail review hearing on Wednesday. In October, Bryant was charged with dealing methamphetamine, a Level 2 felony, possession of methamphetamine, a Level 4 felony, intimidation, a Level 5 felony, theft and possession of paraphernalia, both misdemeanors.
Bryant, who was not ready to accept a plea agreement at the time, requested to be released without paying bond. Bryant advised he paid his rent through maintenance to the property that he provided for himself and his fiancé, who did not work. Bryant also advised the court of his fiancé’s name. Judge Kenton Kiracofe advised that the court saw the fiancé, Cassie Abercrombie, earlier that morning for an initial hearing for charges related to drugs. Bryant was denied a reduction. His bond remains set at $22,000.
