You will know you have come to the Isch garden if as you enter the area you spot Holly, at right, busily weeding in the garden. Also a variety of sculptures, like the Eagle at left, are part of the garden that wraps itself around the Isch home.

Members of the Wells County Master Gardners group will be hosting a Garden Walk Saturday, June 24, from noon to 4 p.m. at three sites including the garden of Patty Isch located at 301N 700 E (near Craigville) in Wells County.

Along the paths in Patti Isch’s garden is a small cottage that serves as her garden shed. Many of her perennial plants were gifted to her by friends. (Photo by Barbara Barbieri)

The walk may be started at any site and a $5 ticket gives admission to all three sites.

There are several areas in the Isch garden to stop and sit a spell and one such area is by the home’s back door. Perhaps when you visit Ted the cat will greet you as you walk the paths.

The sites include:

Sam and Darleen Habegger, 316 Hickory Knoll in Willowbrook

Genie Meyer, 2059E 800N, Ossian. (If coming off of St. Rd. 1 go over the RR track and turn right at the second road.)

Extensive storm damage at the garden of Barry and Doreen Steffen canceled their site from the tour this year.
