The Wells County Chamber of Commerce staff and ambassadors welcomed Susan Clouser, owner of Cereset Bluffton, with a ribbon cutting celebration. Cereset Bluffton is located at 1169 N Main Street, Suite 4B, in Bluffton.
Cereset is a cerebrum reset and has an advanced patented BrainEcho® technology that empowers the brain through reflection and resonance of brainwave rhythms. Cereset creates a brain echo that assists the brain to re-balance itself. Clouser explains that if people have experienced trauma, grief, anxiety, depression, digestion issues, headaches, slow thinking and memory issues, sleep interruptions, and COVID issues they find that once your brain is in a balanced state these issues seem to minimize.
Cereset is not a medical device to heal, treat, diagnose, or cure. Cereset is founded on the principle that the brain is capable of correcting itself when it can “see” that it is stuck – or unbalanced. Cereset non-invasively helps the brain to relax in order to rebalance and reset itself for optimal regulation.
“Extreme stressors can get our brain stuck in survival mode,” said Clouser. “Cereset will relax the brain and then find its own center or balance. This technology is non-invasive using only brain-initiated sound to relax the brain, allowing it to reset and free it from freeze and/or fight-or-flight states. The goal is to achieve higher levels of well-being and balance throughout your life.”
Clouser’s journey to bring Cereset to Bluffton began after seeing firsthand how the sessions improved the health of her daughter, who was diagnosed with Complex Regional Pain Syndrome, a pain disorder. “For three years she was very sick,” explained Clouser. “She spent 16 weeks in Arkansas at a clinic, but during that time she underwent treatment through Cereset. I am proud to say, and thankful to God, that she is in complete remission, doing phenomenal, and is working to stay off all medications.”
Through Clouser’s time spent with her daughter she researched the company extensively and decided to become a licensed Technician Coach and bring a center to Wells County. “We saw all the amazing things this was doing for people, and for our daughter, that I felt God was leading me to help people and here we are. I don’t think Bluffton understands how incredible this technology is and that we have it right here at our fingertips to help children all the way up to aged adults. Whether someone is dealing with restless sleep, past trauma, concussions, brain fog, focusing issues, long haul covid symptoms, this technology can help. These sessions open the neural pathways in order for the brain to help itself.”
Cereset was founded in 2004 by Lee Gerdes after being assaulted, which resulted in a mild traumatic brain injury. Gerdes experienced sleep problems, dizzy spells, headaches, and brain fog. After many treatments, medical interventions and eight long years of sleeplessness, there was no relief. Gerdes’ background in mathematics, physics, computer software development, theology, and psychology led him to develop the technology to support his brain’s ability to relax.
“The number one thing that most clients will see is better sleep quality, which in turn allows for more energy and a better ability to focus,” stated Clouser. “Restorative sleep allows people to handle stressful situations better and it increases their energy and mood. Many people do not get the required amount of sleep their bodies need. Lack of restful sleep can create increased stress, anxiety, irritability, poor decision making, and impulsive behavior. People who regularly get less than seven hours of sleep can also experience poor general health and increased risk of disease.”
Cereset has sixty locations in the United States with two in Indiana. “We are very fortunate to have this technology for people who struggle with so many issues,” explained Clouser. “This allows us to live a full and complete life to better ourselves and for those around us. The world would be a better place if our moods were improved.”
