County Drainage Board will meet Monday afternoon

The Wells County Drainage Board will meet at 4 p.m. Monday, April 3, in Room 105, the multi-purpose room on the lower level of the Wells Carnegie Government Annex, 223 W. Washington St.

The meeting will open with a hearing on a proposed increase in the Bills Creek maintenance fund assessment.

The only other items on the agenda are project updates and miscellaneous drainage matters.

The Wells County Area Plan Commission will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday, April 6, in Room 105, the multi-purpose room on the lower level of the Wells Carnegie Government Annex, 223 W. Washington St.

Topics on the agenda include:

• Consideration of a zoning change request at 1131 S. Morgan St. in Bluffton from R-2 to R-3; the zoning change would have to do with housing residential density. 

• RGS Real Estate LLC requests an approval of a 58-space parking lot at 705W-900N, Uniondale. The property is  zoned A-1 (agriculture).

• The city of Bluffton requests approval for the development of Lancaster Park. The property is located on Jackson Street, 500 feet east of Ind. 1 and is zoned R-1 (residential).

• Biggs Inc. and DK Development LLC request approval for a 168-lot major subdivision. The property is located on farm ground in the northwest area of Ind. 1 and Davis Road in Ossian and is zoned R-1 (residential) and B-3 (business).

• Biggs Inc. requests a rezoning change to R-1 for 4.01 acres in the northwest area of Ind. 1 and Davis Road in Ossian and is zoned B-3 (business).
