We finally had some snow over the weekend of Jan, 20 and 21. It is also predicted that snow is staying around for a few more days. The kids will like this!

Check out the Coffee Cafe at the Zanesville Community Church of God. You are welcome to come on over and enjoy some conversation and meet some old and new friends.

The cafe is open from 7:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. every weekday morning.

For some great pizza and my favorite sausage roll visit the County Line Pizza. It’s open Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings.

I have added some new books to the Zanesville Lions Free Library. Come on over to the clubhouse and open the library door near the north entrance. Take home as many books as you like and share them with your family and friends.

You can also donate books by leaving them at the bottom of the shelves. Also you can leave your eyeglasses, hearing aids, and old cell phones for the Lions to be recycled and handed out all over the world to those who need them.

The Zanesville Lions have partnered with the Town of Zanesville in planning our July 29 Zanesville Lions Fun Festival.

As part of Zanesville will be 175 years old in March and the rest of town in March 2024, we have decided to celebrate the birthday this year. We will begin having meetings with the churches, the town, and the Lions to plan this big occasion.

If you want to be a part of the celebration planning, please call me at 638-4327 and I will get back to you.

It is going to take all of Zaneville residents and friends and hopefully we will get lots of help from our area fellow Lions Clubs. If everyone takes a part, the day will be fantastic!

Visit the Tower Life Center for UPWARD basketball Saturdays. This is a great program for kids.

The bridge on 400W between 1100N and 1200N has been repaired and is again open for traffic. A sinkhole was the problem.

The Zanesville Lions still have wreaths to sell. We can fix them for Valentine’s Day and will be able to alter them for Memorial Day. Just call us. You may also order apple dumplings.
