Modern hymn writers and contemporary Christian music artists Keith and Kristyn Getty will be making Norwell one of the stops on their nationwide fall “Christ Our Hope in Life and Death” tour. According to the couple’s website, “The Gettys’ hymns are used increasingly both in contemporary and traditional circles, being included in most modern hymnbooks, while in the more contemporary church, more than 60 of their songs are featured on top 2,000 Christian Copyright Licensing International charts between the United Kingdom and the U.S.A.” The event is planned for 6 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 25, at the high school auditorium. Eighteen local businesses have combined efforts to bring the world-renowned recording artists to Norwell. Seating is limited and tickets are sold on a first-come-first-served basis.
