Members of the Wells County Historical Museum have arranged for the video “Of Sound Mind,” the John Terrell murder trial, to be shown at the Museum in two parts.

The 1903 event was known as the most spectacular trial in Wells County. Half of the 12 episodes will be shown at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 14 in the museum’s annex. The remaining six episodes will be shown at 1:30 p.m. Aug. 21.

The movie was a project of the Pulse Opera House in Warren during the COVID-19 pandemic with Cynthia Smythe-Wartzok compiling and writing the script. Local actors presented the production as a radio event.

There is no admission charge to view the videos at the  museum.
