Wendy J. Younger Jester, 51, of Montpelier, died at 9:50 a.m. Friday, Jan. 14, 2022, at the Bluffton Regional Medical Center.
She was born Nov. 28, 1970, in Bluffton. She married Jerry D. Jester Feb. 4, 2006, in Redkey. Her husband survives.
Also surviving are her mother, Marion “Jean” Powell Younger of Montpelier; three sons, Andrew C. (Tabitha) Jester of Yorktown, Brad C. Jester of Portland, and Tyler D. Jester of Montpelier; two daughters, Catherine J. (Nick) Myers of Redkey and Ashley P. (Phil) Kruyer of Fort Wayne; eight grandchildren; two brothers, Tim (Lorie) Younger of Dunkirk and Travis (Courtney) Younger of Muncie; and four sisters, Amanda Wormer of Montpelier, Rosa (Kyle) Karrigan of Portland, Angie Younger of Decatur, and Katie Younger of Muncie.
She was preceded in death by her father, David Joseph Younger, who died Oct. 15, 2020.
Calling will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 26, at the Walker & Glancy Funeral Home, 109 W. Windsor St. in Montpelier. Services will be held at the funeral home at 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 27. Interment will follow in the Hillcrest Cemetery in Redkey.
