Sondra D. (Lee) Fisher, 84, of Van Buren, passed away at 11:38 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 22, 2026 at Heritage Pointe in Warren. She was born on Thursday, Nov. 6, 1941, in Jackson Township, Wells County. She married Rex Fisher Jr. on Saturday, Feb. 20, 1960.
Loving survivors include her children, Rex Fisher, III, of Marion, Nickolas Fisher, of Huntington and Anthony (Robbie) Fisher, of San Antonio, Texas; eight grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; and sisters, Kate Gilbert, Warren, and Shirley Buckland, Bluffton.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rex Fisher, Jr.; her parents, Perry A. and Nora Z. (Miller) Booher; grandson, Nickolas Fisher Jr.; siblings, Evelyn Schweikhardt, Charles Lee, Lee Lawson and Belva Lee.
Family and friends may gather to share and remember at Ferguson & Glancy Funeral Home, 201 W. Main St. Van Buren, IN. 46991 on Tuesday, Oct. 27, 2026 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
A service to celebrate her life will follow at 1:00 PM with Pastor Steve Rogers officiating. Burial will follow at Grant Memorial Park in Marion.
