Both Norwell girls’ middle school basketball teams picked up big wins over Leo Monday night.
The eighth grade team defeated the Lions 47-12. Kendall Fegley led the Knights with 11 points, followed by Hadley Meyer with eight points, Avery Thornton and Kynnlei Beste with six each, Rilynn Hoopingarner (5) and Stella Tumbleson and Elizabeth Mann (2).
The seventh grade team won 39-9. Piper Krumma led the team with 20 points. Camryn McCartney, Annabelle Gill, Mercy Meyer and Paizley Price followed with four, Emma Moon (2) and Ada Campbell (1).
