NOTICE OF HEARING ON
PROPOSED RATES AND CHARGES
Property owners and other interested parties in the City of Bluffton, Indiana, are hereby notified that Ordinance No. 1641 establishing rates and charges for services to be rendered by the City for the collection of Rubbish, Garbage, and recyclable materials within the City was introduced at a meeting of the Common Council of the City of Bluffton held on November 19, 2024. At a meeting of the Bluffton Common Council to be held at 5:30 p.m. (Bluffton time) on December 3, 2024, in the Council Chambers, 128 E. Market St., Bluffton, IN 46714, Second Floor, there will be a public hearing on the matter of rates and charges and consideration of the adoption of Ordinance No. 1641 which provides in part as follows:
An amendment to Bluffton Code 8.24.160 Service Charges.
The addition of 8.24.160 Service Charges: to establish a residential monthly fee for the collection of Garbage, Rubbish and recyclable materials for the next four years.

At the hearing and prior to final adoption of the Ordinance, all interested parties may appear and be heard. A copy of Ordinance No. 1641 may be examined at the office of the Clerk-Treasurer, 128 E. Market St., Bluffton, IN 46714.
