Norwell senior Cassie Coyne has been selected to receive the Norwell High School Internship Spotlight award. Cassie is doing her experience at the Bluffton Elementary School in the Tiger Cub Latchkey Program and in the Pre-school area. Her mentors are Jaci Moser and Angie Lough. Cassie is the daughter of Kerry and Tracy Coyne of Bluffton.

In the latchkey area, Cassie ensures that the children have a safe environment before school begins each day. She gets to lead activities at the playground and in the gymnasium. As a pre-school assistant, Cassie ensures safety and monitors student behavior while they play and do crafts. She also observes  teacher strategies for lesson planning and classroom management.

Upon graduation, Cassie plans to attend Midway University in Kentucky to study elementary education and also participate on the college swim team.
