Four people were arrested on Tuesday in connection with an armed robbery in southern Wells County on Oct. 15.

According to a press release from the Wells County Sheriff’s Department, the four suspects were identified as David Watson, 38, Poneto; Sabbathshe El Y Israel, 31, Poneto; Marcus Frank James Randall, 18, Leo; and Miles Elwood Walker Pogue, 18, Bluffton.

The release advised that charges include burglary, robbery, criminal confinement, battery and theft — with additional charges possible. 

Watson, Randall and Pogue all face charges for burglary, a Level 1 felony, robbery, a Level 2 felony, confinement, a Level 3 felony, and battery committed with a deadly weapon and theft of a firearm, both Level 5 felonies.

Watson faces additional charges for possession of a firearm by a serious violent felon, a Level 4 felony, and theft of a vehicle, a Level 6 felony. Randall faces additional charges for theft of auto parts, a Level 6 felony. Pogue’s additional charges include theft of a vehicle — prior conviction, a Level 6 felony. 

A press release from the date of the robbery advised that the crime took place overnight in the 1000 block of C.R. 1100 South and that there was no danger to the public.
