Thursday, 12:15 p.m., Wells County Jail. Man that was arrested hours earlier for violating a no contact order made a phone call from jail, again violating the no contact order. Adam Carew charged with invasion of privacy, a Class A misdemeanor.
Thursday, 1:14 p.m., Wells County Jail. Protection order served on Scott Harvey.
Friday, 7:35 a.m., 100 block of West Washington Street, Poneto. Report of attack from dog.
Friday, 9:06 a.m., U.S. 224 and 400W, Markle. Car vs deer.
Ossian:
Thursday, 3:17 p.m., 100E and 800N, Ossian. Driver cited for speeding.
ACCIDENTS
County:
Tuesday, 3:07 p.m., S.R. 116 and 300N, Murray. Anthony Diegel, 63, Celina, Ohio, was driving on S.R. 116 and began turning onto East 300N. Diegel failed to notice an oncoming vehicle, and his Ford E-350 collided with a Chevrolet Equinox driven by Jaila Taylor, 51, Bluffton. No injuries reported, damages did not exceed $25,000.

Tuesday, 10:29 p.m., 11622 S S.R., Montpelier. Grain bin fire. Montpelier, Poneto and Nottingham Township fire departments responded. Fire under control at 2:30 a.m.
Wednesday, 1:03 a.m., 705 W Dustman Rd., Bluffton. Hazardous material fire. Reportedly oil fire, heavy smoke in building. Building evacuated. Liberty Township, Ossian and Bluffton fire departments responded.
