At its regular weekly meeting on Thursday, May 30, Ossian Rotary will hear from Kelly Goode, Norwell Schools Mental Health Coordinator, speaking about teenage mental health, a growing concern nationwide.
Goode brings over two decades of experience in providing mental health support within educational settings. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Butler University, providing her with a strong foundation in understanding human behavior and cognition. Building on this foundation, she pursued a master’s in social work from the University of Central Florida, honing her skills in providing support and intervention for individuals facing various mental health challenges. Over the years, she has served as a dedicated advocate for students’ well-being, fostering a supportive environment conducive to their growth and development.
Recently, Goode obtained her master’s of education and building level administration certificate from Oakland City University, demonstrating her commitment to enhancing educational environments and supporting the holistic development of students. With her diverse educational background and professional experiences, she is dedicated to promoting mental wellness within the school community and ensuring that all students have access to the resources they need to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
