Spanning six months from inception to completion, Tonner Transfer Station stands as a testament to local entrepreneurship and dedication. Family-owned and operated by Brandon and Megan Gerber, Damon and Kylie Gerber, and Todd and Michelle Gerber, Tonner Transfer Station is the latest evolution of Tonner Dumpster, a business acquired from Bill and Susan Tonner in July 2020.

Brandon Gerber, reflecting on the motivation behind this expansion, remarked, “We envisioned Tonner Transfer Station as not just a business venture but as a service to our community. The need for enhanced waste disposal solutions for both residents and contractors were apparent, and we eagerly embraced the opportunity to meet that demand.”

At Tonner Transfer Station, individuals and businesses alike can benefit themselves with dumpster rental services and conveniently dispose of their trash. Damon Gerber explained, “Our station bridges the gap between landfills and the public. Whether you’re a homeowner with household waste or a contractor with demolition debris, our streamlined process ensures hassle-free disposal.”

Tonner Transfer Station welcomes residents and businesses alike, offering competitive rates and a comprehensive range of services. With a few exceptions, such as hazardous materials, electronic waste, and asbestos, the station accommodates most disposal needs. Additionally, dumpsters are available for rent, ensuring flexibility for various waste management requirements.

Brandon Gerber expressed gratitude for the collaborative effort that brought Tonner Transfer Station to fruition, stating, “This endeavor has been a collective journey, and we’re immensely grateful for the support we’ve received. Our vision for the first Wells County transfer station is to deliver unparalleled service and convenience to our community.”
