Wells County EMS transported an unidentified male to Lutheran Hospital Friday evening after he reportedly drove his GMC Sierra into a field on the west side of Ind. 1 south of 450S. After leaving the highway, the driver rolled the truck an unknown number of times before the vehicle stopped. As of press time, the Wells County Sheriff’s Department had not released any more information, such as the condition of the driver or the time the crash happened. The Bluffton Fire Department also responded to the scene. All emergency personnel left the scene by about 10:25 p.m. (Photo by Chet Baumgartner)
