The Men’s Lenten Breakfasts are held on Saturday mornings at 8 a.m. Feb. 24 the host is Zanesville Church of God; March 2, Fairview Church of God near Yoder on Yoder Road; March 9, the men at Nine Mile United Methodist Church on Indianapolis Road north of here will be hosts, and March 23 will be here in Zanesville at the Tower Life Center Church. All men and boys of the area are invited to attend.
The Zanesville Town Council meets on Tuesday evening, Feb. 20, at 6:30 in the Municipal Building on Wayne Street. Everyone is invited to attend.
The Zanesville Church of God’s Coffee Cafe is still up and running. Everyone is welcome to come and have coffee weekdays from 7:30 to 10 a.m. The church is located on Marzane Road.
The Zanesville Church of God also invites you to come for a Community Night of Worship on Friday, Feb. 23. The service begins at 7 p.m. and there will be refreshments and child care.
Upward Basketball and Cheerleading continues at the gymnasium at the Tower Life Center gymnasium on Saturday mornings to early afternoons. There is food to buy and there is no admission fee. This is great entertainment!
County Line Pizza & Pub continues to help the Lions Club out by selling our apple dumplings. If you need more than they have on hand they will call me and I will deliver them to their place for you to pick up. Also you can call me and, if I am available, I can deliver them to you. They are $3 each and ready to microwave.
Zanesville Lions Club book sale is scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 22, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., plus Friday and Saturday, Feb. 23 and 24, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 3088 W. Vanhorn St. Books available are WWI and WWII and sets, biographies and autobiographies, Zane Grey and L’Amour.
