I sometimes wonder what people discard first: Their Christmas trees or New Year’s resolutions.
Arguably, both symbolize the joys inherent to the holiday season, and both can rightfully inspire to some degree, but ultimately, neither can empower people.
But the Savior Christians celebrate can.
So as Christians — and everyone — transition into the season of nitty-gritty, and as they enter the time of year generally devoid of celebrations, I pray this song will inspire them to remember that the miracle of Christmas, as well as Easter, redeems more than one day or even one season. Jesus came so Christians could make every night holy and each day redeemed.
