Monday, 3:24 p.m., Valley Park Apartments. Officer stood by to assist DCS.
Monday, 3:45 p.m., Walmart. Report of subject in asset protection regarding a theft.
Monday, 4:10 p.m., Walmart. Officer assisted employees with escorting employee off property.
Monday, 5:44 p.m., 600 block of West Arnold Street. Caller reported WOW Bus damaged basketball goal and forgot to get insurance information from driver. Bus driver advised he would handle the issue.
Monday, 7:02 p.m., 400 block of West Wabash Street. Subject requested police stop performing welfare checks and delivering messages for someone.
Monday, 7:25 p.m., 100 block of Hillcrest Road. Woman reported mother is being scammed.
Monday, 10:08 p.m., Lowes. Delivery truck driver advised he would move off of the road.
Tuesday, 1:05 a.m., 700 block of South Williams Street. Report of ongoing issues with power tools causing excessive noise. No noise heard.
Tuesday, 1:34 a.m., 300 block of Autumn Court. Grandmother requested help with a teenager refusing to get in the car to catch a flight to Texas where he would see his parents. Teenager complied as the officer exited his vehicle.
Tuesday, 4:03 a.m., 1030 North Main Street. Caller requested ride home after car broke down, officer gave courtesy transport.
Ossian:
Monday, 12:18 p.m., 11000 North 600 East, Ossian. Caller advised sub from previous call was blocking access to property again. Officer spoke with both parties who agreed to work it out.
Monday, 11:19 p.m., 5000 North 450 East, Ossian. Caller reported someone rang the doorbell. This was suspicious due to the time of the day.

Monday, 1:21 p.m., 100 block of East Linn Road, Bluffton. Subject was warned for trespassing on ex-girlfriends property.
Monday, 2:15 p.m., South Meridian Road and East 200 South, Bluffton. Welfare check requested for elderly man walking. Man advised he wanted to go to the library but his car was acting up. Officer gave him a ride to the library, the man thanked him.
Monday, 4:52 p.m., 400 block of East Cherry Street, Bluffton. Officer attempted to serve a protective order but was unable to locate the subject.
Monday, 6:28 p.m., 1000 block of South Adams Street, Bluffton. Multiple callers reported subjects trespassing on property, sitting next to no trespassing sign. Officer determined the people did not speak English and were waiting to be picked up from work at this location. They only carried Peytons ID cards for identification. The officer used a translation app to explain the circumstances and they indicated they understood.
Monday, 7:01 p.m., 200 North 100 East, Bluffton. Caller requested more signs to be put up to deter people from turning around in the driveway. Advised to contact the state highway.
Monday, 9:20 p.m., near 2800 Stoney Lane, Markle. Report of custody issue that turned physical. Parties advised to handle it in court, all parties denied wanting charges filed. DCS notified of incident.
Tuesday, 3:12 a.m., East 200 South and South Hoosier Highway. Caller reported large fire in the area. Fire located and fire department contacted.
Tuesday, 7:26 a.m., near 6000 North 100 West, Uniondale. Report of someone pushing AC unit out and breaking into residence. Firearms and safe stolen with over $2,000 value in weapons inside, $8,000 cash, and a diamond ring valued at $4,000.
ACCIDENTS

Thursday, 2:58 p.m., Ind. 1 and Wiley Avenue. Thomas Johnson reported he was driving behind Daniel Ivens and failed to notice traffic slowing. The front end of Johnson’s Lincoln MKS rear ended the back of Ivens’ Ford Explorer. Thomas was cited for license and insurance violations and his Lincoln was impounded due to insurance. Damages not exceeding $10,000.
Tuesday, 8:02 a.m., 400 block of South Oak Street. Tammy Mullin was in a Lincoln MKX in the parking lot and thought she placed her vehicle in park. When she let off the brake her car rolled forward and collided with the rear bumper of Betty Gerbers Buick Envision. Gerber was in her parked vehicle at the time of the collision but did not report any injuries. Damages not exceeding $1,001.

Saturday, 19:45 p.m., Ind. 124 and East 600 South. Kendra Adkins was traveling West on Ind. 124 in a white Buick Enclave. Adkins advised she was arguing with her husband in the passenger seat when she got angry and punched her steering wheel, causing her vehicle to go off the roadway. When she attempted to go back on the road, the vehicle rolled onto the driver side. A minor child in the backseat of the car had a black eye, however, denied medical treatment. The vehicle was towed due to damages. Damages not exceeding $50,000.
ARRESTS
Christopher Michael Hayden, 38, Bluffton, was arrested for theft – shoplifting, a Class A misdemeanor. No bond was set.
