Norwell officially announced Wednesday that Norwell’s head baseball coach Dave Goodmiller has stepped down.
After five seasons as the head coach of the Knights, Goodmiller won a Northeast 8 Conference title, three straight sectional championships from 2021-2023, and two regional championships.
A press release from Norwell Athletics stated, “His dedication, commitment, leadership, and efforts toward the program for nearly two decades have been greatly appreciated. We thank you and wish you all the best, Coach!”
In his final season, Norwell finished with a 23-8 record, second in the NE8 at 6-1, winning the sectional and regional at Oak Hill High School.
