Pre-dinner events included a welcome by Chairman Zach Rogers, an invocation by Ked Moser, and being led in the pledge to the flag by Jolin Whicker.

Following dinner guest Emcee Whitley Yates, Director of Diversity and engagement for the Indiana Republican Party, introduced sponsors, special guests, elected officials and candidates. She also introduced the featured speaker Seth Dillon, CEO of Babylon Bee, a news media publication.

His company takes on the tone of a traditional news media publication and satirizes real world events and public figures. Dillion gave examples of some of the events satirized that later actually happened. He also warned  about the dangers censorship and that since 2018 all of the jokes on Babylon Bee have been fact checked.

Chairman Rodgers presented the Abe Legacy Award to Matt Lehman for his continuous, outstanding and honorable service to the Wells County Republican Party. Lehman represents the 79th District in the Indiana House of Representatives and is majority floor leader. “He has consistently given outstanding service to Wells county,” Rogers explained.

A spirited auction was led by Jody Holloway and the evening concluded with young Josephine Andrews singing “God Bless America.”
