Kris Leroy Martin, 59, of Midlothian, Va., went to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 18, 2023, surrounded by his family.
He is preceded in death by his father, Donald Martin. He is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Michelle Martin; children, Meredith Martin, Kaitlynn Martin (Mikey Buchanan), Jared Martin, and Jacquelynn Martin; mother, Marlene Martin; brother, Keith Martin (Jill); sister, Renee Baker (Ray), in-laws Larry and Carol Sievert, and several cousins, nieces, nephews, in-laws and friends.
Kris was an assistant Boy Scout master and softball coach in Woodlake. He was an avid NASCAR and Colts fan and a member of the Knights of Columbus. The family will receive friends from 12:30–2 p.m. on Saturday, May 20, 2023 at Ossian United Methodist Church, with a service following at 2:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to VCU Massey Cancer Center or Ossian United Methodist Church.
