The Norwell Middle School track teams competed at the Northeast 8 Conference championship, hosted by the Knights Friday.
The girls’ team placed first out of three teams with a team score of 137. Indian Spring finished second with a score of 113, and Leo third with 101.
The boys’ winner was East Noble with a score of 109.5, followed by Norwell with 73.5, and Riverview third with 73.
Individual conference champions for the girls were:
• Emma Fey in the shot put with a throw of 28-3 1/2.
• Mia Kurtz in the pole vault with a jump of 7-6.
• Haley Williamson in the long jump with a jump of 14-8.
• Eden Nash, Reagan Wilson, Williamson, and Tenlee Morris with a time of 55.27.
Point leaders for the boys were:
• Gage Reinhard (17.25)
• Josh McBride (14.5)
