A class on Cooking Under Pressure ­— about using electric programmable pressure cookers such as an Instant Pot ­— is being offered the evening of Thursday, May 25, at the Wells County Community Center in the 4-H Park.

The class is from 6 to 7:30 p.m. and is being offered by the Wells County Extension Homemakers. The event is free and is open to the public. Those interested in attending are asked to call 824-6412 by May 23.

Those attending will learn about the features of the appliance and their benefits plus techniques on using the cookers. Discussions of food safety and recipes are also planned, and a food demo will be included.
