It just doesn’t seem that it is already April although I will be glad to see a day of warm weather and no wind!

The kids on both sides of the street are back to school after spring breaks at both Norwell and Southwest Allen County schools. It will soon be the end of the 2022-23 school year!

The Zanesville Community Church of God reports that their Coffee Cafe will be closed for a while. Just look for the sign to go back up and come and join in the fellowship.

A new business is going in downtown. It is “Just Add Salsa.” I have not been able to catch someone there to find more about it. We welcome them to town.

The Men’s Bible study resumes on Thursday evenings at 7 p.m. at the Zanesville Church of God. All men and boys are welcome to attend. They also have a Women’s Bible study on Tuesday evening at 6:30 p.m.

This year, 2023, will mark 41 years for Zanesville’s festival. It was started by the Zanesville United Brethren in Christ Church as a fundraiser for a mission trip to Jamaica for a group of their young people and sponsors. Going on the trip were Rev. Larry and Linda Taylor and son Scott, Denny and Mary Johnson, Rex Hurraw, Phil Stanzak, J.P. and Jenny (Edwards) Miller, Ken and Regine (Fisher) Hulvey, Mary and Martha Ponsot, Chad Pequignot, Joe Welches, Kim Sink, Katrina Fisher, and Lanny Tillman. (These were their names at the time.) Thanks to all the dedicated volunteers that have kept it going.
