The Wells County Council for Prevent Child Abuse Indiana had their first Superhero Walk on Tuesday, April 4, beginning at Dutch Mill Landing. Jolin Whicker, wife of Mayor John Whicker, read a proclamation declaring April as Child Abuse Prevention Month in Wells County.

After, participants went on a short walk and “planted” pinwheels, which represent the great childhood that every child deserves, and the role we each play in providing a loving and supportive environment for the children in our lives.
