Friday, 4:35 p.m., Williams Street at Arnold Street. Group of juveniles walking in the street obstructing traffic. Officer responded and spoke with the youth about their behavior.

Friday, 9:13 p.m., Praxis substance abuse treatment facility, 1529 W. Lancaster St. Wells County EMS requested on a report of a patient who tested .34 percent alcohol concentration equivalency on a Breathalyzer test, which is more than four times the legal limit for intoxication.

Saturday, 1:17 a.m., Wells County 4-H Park, 1240 4-H Road. Suspicious man walking in the park. Officer spoke with the man who was cutting across the park while walking home from work.

Saturday, 10:39 a.m., apartment at Pine Grove Apartments. Officer requested to remove an unwanted woman from the apartment. She left without incident.

Saturday, 2:54 p.m., residence in the 500 block of East Horton Street. Someone dumped trash and mail in the yard of the residence. Believed to be part of an ongoing dispute between neighbors.

Saturday, 3:45 p.m., residence in the 500 block of Meadow Lane. McDonald’s restaurant drive-through lane customer reported the customer behind her in line was upset with her because she was trying to get her order correct. The man followed her to her residence and started arguing with her.

Saturday, 7:13 p.m., Roush Park, 925 W. Silver St. Suspicious man in the park after dark in a silver Chrysler. Officer checked the area and located a male passenger from the Chrysler by the railroad tracks taking pictures of a train. He was finished and getting ready to leave when the officer arrived.

Sunday, 10:37 a.m., Budget Inn 1090 N. Main St. Someone cut the anti-freeze line on a Ford F-350 pickup truck parked in the motel parking lot.

Sunday, 12:04 p.m., Main Street at Monroe Street. One of the stoplights was dangling loose for the northbound lane on Main Street. Indiana Department of Transportation notified.

Monday, 9:45 a.m., residence in the 1300 block of Clark Avenue. Person reported vandalism to property.

Monday, 10:04 a.m., Main Street at Willowbrook Trail. Dump truck dumped rocks in the road. Officer cleared them from the roads.

Friday, 5:32 p.m., parking lot behind the Bluffton Post Office, 205 S. Main St. Jody R. Ogle, 54, rural Bluffton, attempted to exit a parking space in a 2020 Chevrolet Express van registered to Enterprise FM Trust, St. Louis, Mo., turned too sharp and clipped a parked 2013 Toyota Prius driven by Asa L. Edington, 62, Bluffton. Damage exceeded $1,000.

Friday, 6:28 p.m., Walmart Supercenter parking lot, 2100 N. Main St. Pearl E. Taylor, 82, Bluffton, backed a 2009 Chevrolet Impala out of a parking space and backed into a 2005 Chrysler PTC driven by Shannon Musco, 40, Bluffton. Damage exceeded $1,000.

Saturday, midnight, loading dock at Peyton’s Northern, 1111 S. Adams St. Doulas C. Randolph, 41, Jacksonville, Fla., backed a 2016 Freightliner truck and trailer registered to Euro Lines LLC, Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla., into a loading dock bay and struck the front of a semi already parked in an adjacent bay — a 2023 International LT625 that had been driven by Dwayne J. Alvin, 32, Lake City, Fla. and registered to Two Lions, Merrillville. Damage exceeded $2,500.

Sunday, 7:34 p.m., Main Street north of Division Road. Ashley L. Williamson, 35, Bluffton, was driving a 2010 Dodge Journey north on Main Street when traffic came to a sudden stop. He stopped, too, and attempted to swerve to the right to avoid a collision but his Journey still hit a 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee, driven by Laura E. Fletcher, 57, Bluffton, from behind. Damage exceeded $5,000.

Monday, 9:06 a.m., Hoosier Highway north of 250S. Tamara Miller, age not available, Montpelier, was driving a 2010 Lincoln MKX north on Hoosier Highway when the vehicle veered across the center line, entered the west side ditch and slammed into an REMC electric pole, breaking the pole. Miller was taken by Wells County EMS to Bluffton Regional Medical Center for treatment of neck and back pain. No estimate of damages was available. Bluffton Fire Rescue was also dispatched to the scene.

FIRE RUNS

Friday, 1:45 a.m., Renata Williams residence, 713 S. Scott St. Carbon monoxide detector alarm. Bluffton Fire Department dispatched. No carbon monoxide detected. Firefighters replaced the detector with a new one.

Saturday, 7:2 a.m., Bi-County Services group home, 423 E. Silver St. Smoke alarm. Bluffton Fire Department dispatched. No fire. Burned breakfast triggered the alarm.

Monday, 1:39 p.m., Lancaster Estates mobile home park, 1211 W. Lancaster St. Smell of natural gas. Bluffton Fire Department dispatched. No gas detected.
