Dorothy Morgan Clark, 95, passed away Aug. 30, 2022, at the residence she shared with her beloved twin sister, Doris Donaghy Jones, at the Royal Palms Independent Living Community in Largo, Fla.

Dorothy had been a Florida real estate broker who owned, operated, and managed mobile home parks. She was an accomplished businesswoman until her late 80s when she retired.

She loved her family and spending time with them and her extended family as well. She enjoyed traveling and ballroom dancing. In addition, she belonged to the International Twin Association. The “twins” were very popular and loved by their friends at the Royal Palms and by their Ossian United Methodist Church family.

Dorothy was born Dec. 14, 1926, to James Beckham Morgan and Myrtle Lewis Morgan.

Survivors include her daughter, Nancy Clark of Largo, Fla.; a son, David (Marsha) Clark of Largo, Fla.; two sisters, Doris Jones and Joyce Hunter of Ossian; six grandchildren, Mia Miller, Danielle Sells, Dorothy Jo Aguerjout, and Nicole (Jesse) Kerns, all of Florida, and Lyndsay (Chuck) Riddle and Dr. Curtis (Amy) Clark, both of Oregon; 15 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews, who all know her for her generosity.

She is preceded in death by her companion of 30 years, Robert Light; her former husband, George C. Clark; their son, Curtis Morgan Clark; two sisters, Lillian Stoppenhagen and Juanita Walker; and her parents.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Sept. 12, at the Ossian United Methodist Church, 201 W. Mill St. in Ossian, with visitation one hour prior. Visitation will also be from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 11, at the Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Funeral Home, 120 W. Mill St. in Ossian. Burial will be at the Oak Lawn Cemetery.
