Jonathan K. McCartney, 67 Bluffton, passed away Wednesday evening, June 29, 2022, at Markle Health & Rehabilitation Center.
He was born Sept. 14, 1954 in LaPorte, Indiana to Forrest J. and Anna Belle (Eckelbarger) McCartney.
Jon attended Bluffton High School where he enjoyed participating in the cross-country program. He enjoyed music and was talented at playing the piano and guitar. Jon was a gifted artist who painted and did pencil drawings. He enjoyed being outside and spending time with his family and friends.
Survivors include his siblings: William (Joye) Gardenour of Bluffton, Randall (Beverly) McCartney of Bluffton, Ken (Karla) McCartney of Bluffton and Lane McCartney of Bluffton, along many nieces and nephews.
A private family service will take place with burial at Six Mile Cemetery in Bluffton.
