Lynnette D. Jones, 73, of Bluffton, passed away Monday, June 13, 2022, at Celebrate Senior Living in FortWayne.
She was born Oct. 22, 1948 in Ft. Wayne, to Leon “Twig” and Harriet “Pat” Horst Lindsey and married Tim Jones July 21, 1979, in Bluffton. He survives.
Lynnette was a Bluffton High School graduate with the class of 1967. She worked as a store clerk for Walgreens in Bluffton for several years, retiring in 2010. She was a member of the Epworth United Methodist Church in Bluffton and of the Purdue Extension Melody Makers singing group. She enjoyed playing cards, line dancing, crocheting, participating in Rock Steady Boxing, making flower arrangements, cooking, and spending time with her grandchildren. She will be remembered by many for her wonderful sense of humor.
Survivors include her husband, Tim Jones; a daughter, Tracy (Dennis) Fiscus; a son, Dennis (Teresa) Gerwig; two grandchildren, Kassandra Kessler and Lindsey Shragal; and one great-grandchild, Kordelia Kessler.
Visitation will be from 2 to 7 p.m. Thursday, June 16, at the Goodwin – Cale & Harnish Memorial Chapel. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, June 17, at the funeral home with one hour of visitation prior to service. Pastor Dennis Wood will officiate.
Burial will follow at the Six Mile Cemetery in Bluffton.
