Wells Building Corporation Board to meet Monday

The Board of Directors of the Wells County, Indiana, Building Corporation will hold a special meeting at 1:30 p.m. Monday, June 27, at the offices of Andrews & Crell, PC, Attorneys at Law, 116 S. Main St. in Bluffton.

The purpose of the meeting is to approve documents and issuance of bonds pertaining to the construction of a new highway garage.

City Board of Works to meet Tuesday

The Bluffton Board of Works will meet at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 28, at City Hall.

The meeting will include a remote conference with Eric Walsh regarding Bluffton Utilities. Also on the agenda: an update on the junk issues at 427 W. Lancaster St. and a meeting with Elevatus Architecture regarding the HVAC upgrades in the police/fire building. The board will also meet with several department heads to address their specific issues.

Northern Wells school board will meet Tuesday

The board of the Northern Wells Community Schools will meet at 5:10 p.m. Tuesday, June 28, in the district’s maintenance building at 1100 E. U.S. 224.

The meeting will start with a work session — a tour of the NWCS maintenance building.

The regular meeting will begin at 5:30 p.m. Topics on the agenda include:

• Superintendent’s Report.

• Personnel matters — Four resignations and several hiring recommendations.

• 2022-23 administrator contracts for transportation director and technology director.

• Recommendation to approve revisions to volunteer guidelines.

• Recommendation to approve textbook and technology fees for the 2022-23 school year.

• Revisions to Emergency Procedures Guide.

• Recommendation to approve student/parent/staff handbooks for Norwell High School, Norwell Middle School, Lancaster Elementary School, and Ossian Elementary School.

• Resolution reapproving formation of building corporation.

• Resolution approving and authorizing the execution of the addendum to lease.

• Resolution approving form of the third supplement to Master Continuing Disclosure Undertakings.

• Resolution approving the refunding of the unlimited ad valorem property tax first mortgage bonds, Series 2012.
