Wednesday, 7:18 p.m., Hillcrest Road resident reported possibly giving out personal information to a scammer.

Thursday, 1:32 a.m., Roush Park, 925 W. Silver St. Report of a suspicious vehicle in the park. Officer checked it out and informed the occupants that the park closes at 11 p.m. and they needed to take their activities elsewhere.

Residence on 300N west of 100W. Verbal altercation between father and daughter. Deputies responded. Situation calmed.

Wednesday, 5:35 p.m., Main Street at Lamar Street. Shane L. Miller, 53, rural Huntington, was southbound on Main Street when he attempted to merge his 2016 Jeep Cherokee into the adjacent lane and collided with a southbound 2003 Mercury Sable driven by Donald L. Jones, 82, Bluffton. Following the impact, the Sable travelled off the right side of the road and ended up on the Interurban Trail in front of Dairy Queen. Wells County EMS and Bluffton Fire Rescue were dispatched to the scene, but no one was injured. Damage exceeded $5,000.

Wednesday, 6:10 p.m., Harrison Plaza parking lot. Jamie L. Lemler, 44, rural Bluffton, reached for her sunglasses because the sun was in her eyes and drove her 2015 Chevrolet Tahoe into a parking lot light. Damage was estimated to exceed $10,000. Lemler was not hurt in the crash, however both Wells County EMS and Bluffton Fire Rescue were dispatched to the scene, because the person who originally reported the accident was unsure if anyone was trapped or injured.

Thursday, 7:13 a.m., Ind. 1 near 350N. Victoria A. Grilliot, 27, Kingsland, hit a deer with her 2016 Dodge Grand Caravan. Damage to the van exceeded $5,000.

ARRESTS

Lawrence Francis Bloom Jr., 35, Fort Wayne; driving while suspended with a prior conviction, a Class A misdemeanor, operating a vehicle with an alcohol concentration equivalency of .15 percent or more, a Class A misdemeanor; and operating a vehicle while intoxicated endangering a person, a Class A misdemeanor. Bond set at $1,500.

Kaleb James Glatt, 27, Fort Wayne; criminal trespass, a Class A misdemeanor, and theft with a prior conviction for the same or a similar offense, a Level 6 felony. Bond set at $6,500.
