Wednesday, 5:06 p.m., apartment at Pine Grove. Caller reported that someone in Marshalltown, Iowa, opened a Mediacom account in her name.
Wednesday, 9:59 p.m., apartment in the 1200 block of South Main Street. Residential entry and vandalism reported.
Thursday, 4:12 a.m., Airplane Express convenience store. Officers, Bluffton Fire Department first responders and Wells County EMS dispatched on a report of a 34-year-old man light-headed and dizzy.

Wednesday, 3:53 p.m., residence on 900W south of 700S. Burglar alarm. Deputy responded. No sign of foul play found
Wednesday, 9:11 p.m., 300E at 1100S. Report of someone in a pickup truck spotlighting the woods and surrounding fields. Deputy responded but whoever it was had left.
Ossian:
Wednesday, 9:29 p.m., Metts Street at Morton Lane. Ossian police officer pulled over a Honda passenger car driven by Clancy Shanks of Fort Wayne after noticing the vehicle had only one working taillight. Shanks was cited into Wells Superior Court for driving while suspended, a Class A infraction.
Wednesday, 10:20 p.m., residence in the 300 block of Bittersweet Lane. A woman who was driving through the neighborhood looking at houses tried to turn around in the driveway of the residence and got her vehicle stuck in the front yard. She agreed to pay for repairs to the yard.
ACCIDENTS
County:
Wednesday, 8:17 p.m., 100S near 500E. James Harris, 51, rural Bluffton, hit a deer with his 2016 Chevrolet Silverado. Damage to the pickup truck exceeded $5,000.
ARRESTS
Joseph Donald Edward Brindle, 25, Bluffton; probation violation. No bond set.
Gage Alan Kidwell, 23, Bluffton; criminal mischief, a Class B misdemeanor; escape, a Level 5 felony; and probation violation. Bond set at $56,000 on the criminal mischief and escape charges. No bond set on the escape charge.
Anthony Scot Mortimer, 34, Hartford City; probation violation.
