Tuesday, 6:55 p.m., Valley Park Apartments, 320 W. Dustman Road. Report of a verbal altercation between neighbors over children of one neighbor knocking on the windows of another neighbor. Officer responded. Situation calmed.
Wednesday, 9:01 a.m., Bluffton police referred a person to the Connecting Center who had left Praxis as a patient and was seeking shelter.
Wednesday, 11:15 a.m., Walmart Supercenter, 2100 N. Main St. Television stolen.

Tuesday, 5:223 p.m., residence in the 200 block of East Water Street, Kingsland. Catalytic converter stolen from a 2000 Ford F-350 pickup truck.
Tuesday, 7:31 p.m., residence on 200N east of 600E. Caller reported someone driving a black pickup truck pulled into her driveway, parked, got out of the pickup truck carrying a shovel and appeared to bury something next to the Wabash Central Railroad tracks. Deputy dispatched and checked the area, but did not see anyone or a vehicle matching the description.
Tuesday, 9:37 p.m., residence on 400W south of 1100S. Caller reported hearing constant shooting. Deputy dispatched and checked the area but neither saw, nor heard, anyone shooting.
Ossian:
Tuesday, 9:18 p.m., Ossian All American Deli, 404 N. Jefferson St. Someone driving a small blue passenger car started to drive away with the gas pump hose still in the gas fill of the vehicle and pulled off the hose to the gas pump. The man came into the deli and explained what had happened but never left his name.
ACCIDENTS

Monday, 8:24 p.m., U.S. 224 at 300W. Massa Wybenga, 25, Auburn, Wash., was driving a 1997 Buick Century, registered to Chupie Wybenga, Fort Wayne, south on 300W when she drove into the path of an eastbound 2020 Nissan Altima, registered to Ean Holdings, Tulsa, Okla., and driven by Gregg Cleveland, 62, Bangor, Wis. The Altima struck the Century squarely in the passenger side. The impact caused both vehicles to spin and travel off the southeast corner of the intersection where one or both of them ran over a stop sign. Wybenga and Cleveland were both transported by Wells County EMS to Lutheran Hospital. Wybenga suffered a minor head injury and Cleveland complained of chest pain. Markle Fire Rescue and Uniondale Fire Department first responders were also called to the scene. Damage exceeded $10,000. Wybenga was cited for operating a motor vehicle without a license and operating a motor vehicle without insurance.

Monday, 11:24 p.m., 300W near 1100S. Michael L. Sills, 69, rural Poneto, hit a deer with his 1998 Chevrolet S-10. Damage to the pickup truck exceeded $2,500.
Tuesday, 5:07 p.m., 450E at 300N. Elizabeth Knefelkamp, 51, Bluffton, was driving a 2007 Chrysler 300 south on 450E. She stopped for 300N and then drove into the path of a westbound Ford Escape driven by Bruce Jackson, 41, rural Bluffton. Neither driver was injured. Damage to the two vehicles exceeded $10,000. Knefelkamp was cited for driving while suspended, a Class A infraction, and failure to yield the right of way, a Class C infraction.
ARRESTS
Shanden Sliger, 34, Bluffton; nine counts of theft, all Class A misdemeanors. Bond set at $13,500.
Breanna Marie Brickley, 28, Bluffton; escape, a Level 6 felony. Bond set at $5,000. She was also charged with violating probation. No bond was set on that charge.
