It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Larry E. Wible on Sept. 10, 2026.

Larry was born June 21, 1940, to parents Charles and Pansy Wible. He grew up alongside two siblings, Shirley and Richard, calling Bluffton home until he joined the Navy, which took him around the Atlantic before returning home.

Shortly after, he decided to go West, eventually making his way to Southern California. There he met his wife, Ana Wible, and settled down to have three children.

An active member of the local American legion, he worked his way up to post Commander — a position he was deeply proud of.

Larry enjoyed the lighter things in life: tinkering on his computer, Wheel of Fortune in the evenings, a witty joke and anything spicy. We miss him dearly.
