Thirty-seven young people ages 8 to 17 participated in the Teen/Junior Indiana Master Naturalist Camp at Ouabache State Park this past week. Staff for the camp were members of the Friends of Ouabache State Park with Jody Heaston, head of the state’s program as the camp director. Activities included learning about wild turkeys, opening geodes, hiking to view wild flowers and the bison, crafts, fishing and boating and of course climbing the fire tower.
