Two records broken for Wells summer swim team
Kenzie Kopp broke the 50 freestyle in the 9/10 age group. The team record was set in 2019 by Vivian Reidenbach. The new record is 18.82.
Ellie Coyne broke the 25 freestylle 13/14 age group. The team record was set in 2023 by herself. The new record is 40.26.
Pennville Soccer League Week 4 results
Week No. 4 of the Pennville Soccer League finished off for the three age groups over the weekend at Pennville Park. Below are the results from each league and the scoring leaders.
Stinger Division (ages 4-6)
Patriot Sportswear Hornets 3, AgBest Express Bees zero. Grant Cosner had 2 goals and Ian Kaehr 1.
A Place to Grow Wasps 6, AgBest Express Bees zero. Mabel Leonhard had 4 goals and Harper Love had 2.

Space Division (ages 7-9)
Bro Shadow Meteors, 4, Ohio Valley Gas Stars, 2. Liam Phipps had 3 goals and Neymar Carreno had 1 for the Meteors. Wesson Laurence and Vinny New each had 1 goal for the Stars.
Vinson Rental Properties Galaxy, 3, Dave’s Heating and Cooling Asteroids, 3. Raul Martinez had 2 goals and Nery Molina 1 for the Galaxy, and Owen Ehrhart, Addi McClain and Jordan Wendel each had 1 goal for the Meteors.
Ohio Valley Gas Stars, 2, New Beginnings Holiness Church Rockets, zero. Jude Cline and Vinny New each had one goal.
Wild Cat Division (ages 10-12)
Pennville General Store Tigers, 3, POET Biorefining Cheetahs, 2. Blake Jellison had 2 goals and Luke Jellison 1 for the Tigers, and Jax McClain and Zyler White each had 1 goal for the Cheetahs.
Penrod Monuments Jaguars, 3, Portland Insurance Cougars, 1. Gabrielle Gibson had 2 goals and Brielle McConnell 1 for the Jaguars, and Lyle Beiswanger 1 goal for the Cougars.
WPGW Lions, 7, POET Biorefining Cheetahs, 2. Charlee Peters had 3 goals, Karsen Kuhn 2, Payson Rickard 1 and Jackson Westgerdes 1 for the Lions, and Jax McClain and Liam Thompson each had 1 goal for the Cheetahs.
