The Midwest Aces 13-and-under baseball team won 18-2 in their opening travel ball league game over SW Spartans on Tuesday night at World Baseball Academy in Fort Wayne.
The Aces racked up 10 hits. AJ Streveler led the charge with two home runs and five RBIs.
Axton Beste added a triple and single, and Trey Privett and Brayden Gearhart had doubles.
Easton Blair got the win on the mound and allowed no hits while striking out seven and walking just one. Adam Mahnensmith closed the game out in relief and allowed two runs on four hits while striking out one.
