An exhibit of Indian photographs, by American artist Edward Curtis, is now being featured at the Garrett Museum of Art, 100 South Randolph St. in Garrett.

Curtis was financially backed by J.P. Morgan and President Teddy Roosevelt to photograph the west and the native American People. Seventy photos, on lone from a private collection in California will be on view though March 27th.

Accompanying the exhibit will be beadwork by Katrina Mitten, a citizen of the Miami Tribe of Oklahoma and Huntington resident. 

Museum hours are Fridays from 5 to 7 p.m., Saturdays from 4 to 7 p.m. and Sundays from 1 to 4 p.m. Admission is $5 per person.
