Tami K. Friesendorf, 61, Berne, charged with drivin g while suspended with a prior conviction, a Class A misdemeanor, and speeding, a Class C infraction, entered into a contract to withhold prosecution/pre-trial diversion.
Ordered to complete a driver improvement course and take all necessary steps to have her driver’s license restored. She was also ordered to pay court costs and fees.
While monitoring traffic from the parking lot at the New Beginning Church on Ind. 218 west of Poneto Dec. 14 a Wells County Sheriff’s deputy clocked a 2013 Buick driven by Friesendorf at 75 mph-55 zone, and ;pulled it over.
He discovered that Friesendorf’s license had been suspended since Dec. 29, 2019.

Preliminary plea of not guilty entered for Brandie L. Curtis, 42, Dunkirk, charged with burglary of a dwelling, a Level 5 felony. Bond continued at $10,000. Justin Wall appointed public defender.
Curtis is one of several people arrested in connection with a series of burglaries of a residence located northeast of Montpelier in August of 2021.
